RIWAR COLLEGE INSTITUTE OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT
The “Riwar College Institute of Skill Development” is an initiative of Riwar College and the sponsoring body, the S.K Riwar Mihngi Education Society to deliver vocational, technical education and skill development training for aspiring youth, women and helping them gain employability and entrepreneurship skill and empowering them to pursue a sustainable livelihood.
The main aim of the “Riwar College Institute of Skill Development” is for the upliftment of economic standard of the downtrodden and to skill the youth to prepare for the job and career in the year to come.
The institute will set up various recognised courses in the field or area of vocational, skill, technical, personality development, management skills, digital literacy, tourism, hospitality, financial literacy, entrepreneurship skills, employment and livelihood enhancement which are specifically targeted at college students, underprivileged youth, dropout students and women.
The training centre will be set up at the rural area inside the campus of Riwar College, Rangthylliang, Pynursla to mobilize aspirants, train them in the course and provide them placement.
The various courses which will be starting will be affiliated and approved by the various agencies of the Government.
