DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS
The Department of Economics has been an integral part of the college since its inception in 2009. Initially, it was managed by Smt. I. Thabah (2009–2013). Smt. S. Nongrum joined the department in 2010, further strengthening its foundation. In 2020, the department introduced the Honours program in Economics, marking a significant academic milestone.
In 2021, Shri. Wanbha Khongsdam joined the college and assumed the role of Head of the Department, playing a pivotal role in the department’s growth and development.
