Disciplinary Committee

RIWAR COLLEGE DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE:

Discipline is the bridge between goals and achievement. Hence education should bring the moral, ethical values of wellbeing, platform to learners and should strive hard to bring in the core human values in the process of learning. The Disciplinary Committee of Riwar College was constituted in 2019 on curbing the menace and indiscipline behaviour on campus. The committee addresses the issues of ill incidents on the campus, monitors the performance of a healthy campus environment, and oversees the prevention of any in-disciplinary activity in the institution. The Committee has been actively taken strict action on indiscipline students.

Objectives & Responsibilities:

1. The Disciplinary Committee plays a vital role in maintaining discipline in the college. It takes cognizance of the complaints or allegations received against the students in the college.
2. The Disciplinary Committee is to create awareness about the disciplines, rules and instructions.
3. The Disciplinary Committee shall ensure compliance with the provisions laid by the UGC Regulations on curbing the menace of Indiscipline behaviour within the campus jurisdiction.
4. The Disciplinary Committee is to monitor and oversee the duties and performances over the prevention of indiscipline amongst students.
5. To frame regulation and policies to maintain discipline in the college premises.
6. To ensure all the students wear ID Cards while they are entering the campus.
7. To prohibit Smoking, Alcohols and Narcotics strictly in the college campus.
8. To support the college anti-ragging committee in preventing ragging in the College.
9. The Disciplinary Committee may inflict penalties on the students if found guilty of the acts of a misdemeanor on campus.
