Alumni Association

RIWAR COLLEGE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

In order to have continuous and formal interaction with the alumni, the college decided to form a Past Students Association in the name of “Riwar College Alumni Association” in 2022 with the purpose of creating a strong support and an intricate network of former graduates who will benefit to elevate the profile of the college. It also aims to bring together all the ex-students in one platform.

Objectives:

1. To promote a sustained sense of belongingness to Riwar College among the Alumni by being in regular contact with them.
2. The roster of all Alumni with updated and current information can be maintained.
3. To provide and disseminate information regarding their Alma Mater, its graduates, faculties and students to the Alumni.
4. To guide and assist Alumni who have recently completed their courses of study at the college to keep them engaged in developing their career.
5. To assist the College in organising activities for the benefit of students.
6. To help the College for strengthening its infrastructural activities.
7. To provide a forum for the Alumni for exchange of ideas on academic, cultural and social issues of the day by organizing and coordinating networking events.
8. To help the students with the help of ex-students for giving better opportunities in placements and with the help of ex-students exhaust the possibilities of giving practical knowledge and exposures to the students.
9. To create an awareness about the achievements, contribution and the rich heritage of the College within the media as well as the other institutions.
10. To help the Institute collaborate with the national and international institutions for better student placements.
11. To institute and organize scholarship funds to help the needy and deserving students of the Institute.
12. To institute prizes and awards for outstanding project work, research papers and other professional activities by the faculty, alumni and the students of the College, and to suitably recognize outstanding social and community services rendered by them.
13. To mobilize resources for supporting the objectives of the Association. To undertake all such other activities for the attainment of the above objectives and are beneficial to the interests of the Riwar College and / or its Alumni.
14. The income and properties of the Association shall be applied solely for the promotion and fulfilment of the aims and objects of the college.
15. The management and control of the Association shall be in the hands of a committee and the Governing Body.
