DEPARTMENT: KHASI
The Department of Khasi was established in 2009, and the Khasi Honours program was introduced in 2011. During its formative years (2009–2014), the department was efficiently managed by part-time faculty members, including Shri (Late) S. Khongsni, Smt. K. Khongjee, and others, who played a crucial role in its development despite various challenges.
In 2014, Smt. B.L. Mawphlang joined the department as a faculty member, contributing to its academic growth. Subsequently, in 2016, Smt. R. Khongkliam also became part of the department, further strengthening its faculty and enhancing the learning experience for students.
