RIWAR COLLEGE LIBRARY:

Library is an integral part of the institution and the Riwar College library was started with a modest collection of books. The library supports the aims of the college towards imparting education and providing the latest information to the students, faculty members and the community for developing their quest for knowledge.

The college library has a collection of more than 1410 books comprise of course books, reference etc. It also subscribes 3 Journals, 3 Magazine and 2 Newspapers.

Working Hours

The library remains open on all working days.

Monday- Friday –   09:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.

Saturday – 09:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M

Membership

1.Only enrolled Students, Faculty and Staff as registered members are permissible to use Library and its resources.

2.Registered Members should produce their Identity card for library transactions.

Visitors

1.Consultation facility is available for Research Scholars/witters/faculty etc of other Institutions for a short period.

2.Visitors should bring original and valid photo ID etc.

Circulation

1.Books are issued for seven days except reserve books which are issued for overnight use only.

2.Books in demand may not be renewed.

3.Readers are responsible for books issued against their names.

4.Library reserves the right to recall any issued book even before the due date.

5.The material such as rare books, theses, dissertations, loose issues of periodicals etc. marked for consultation shall not be issued.

6.Books are non-transferable

7.Borrowers must satisfy about the physical condition of the books before borrowing otherwise they will be held responsible for any damage later or at the time of return.

Overdue charges

1.Textbooks – the overdue charges Rs. 5/- per day per book.

2.Membership shall be suspended for repeated delay in returning the books.

Other Services:

A photostat machine is installed at the library for the use of students and faculty members.
